Target Audience
Everyone
Having the capacity to handle challenging and complex dynamics, where different perspectives can escalate into unnecessary conflict is a critical skill within organizations experiencing uncertain and challenging times, or periods of change. Unresolved conflict on teams can lead to disengagement, lost productivity and potential health and safety consequences so this program incorporates a self-assessment and hands-on practice.
This program is designed to help participants: recognize the causes of interpersonal conflict, increase their own self-awareness of preferences and patterns and explore practical strategies that will increase comfort and effectiveness in proactively and assertively managing challenging conversations.
We all learn differently. At the core, Boreala Management’s design is inclusive and considers a whole host of participant needs and preferences to ensure a psychologically safe and optimal learning environment. We incorporate activities for experiential learning, inquiry exercises for reflection, guidelines for conceptualization, and simple tools (handouts) for applying the content in the workplace.
