Leading Yourself and Understanding Others (DiSC)
Help employees build awareness by identifying their personal preferences, motivations,
and approaches to interpersonal interactions to consciously and deliberately make choices
in their methods of working and relating to others.
Target Audience
Everyone – open to all levels of employees with the objective of enhancing collaboration between participants, reinforcing teambuilding, and increasing teamwork effectiveness.
There is always room to learn more about ourselves and our behavioral patterns. Equally valuable is investing time in learning about others’ preferences and how they respond to certain situations. The Everything DiSC Workplace is a personal assessment tool commonly used by organizations to help enhance teamwork, communication, and workplace productivity. This program is a great opportunity to work on individual professional skills and engage in collective learning for improving workplace dynamics.
This program is designed to help participants build self-awareness by identifying personal preferences, motivations and approaches to interpersonal interactions and in return, consciously and deliberately make choices in their approaches to work and others.
We all learn differently. At the core, Boreala Management’s design is inclusive and considers a whole host of participant needs and preferences to ensure a psychologically safe and optimal learning environment. We incorporate activities for experiential learning, inquiry exercises for reflection, guidelines for conceptualization, and simple tools (handouts) for applying the content in the workplace.
- The DiSC model and their DiSC style, their tendencies and behaviors in professional work dynamics.
- How to identify the strengths and potential drawbacks of the different styles to enhance awareness of their impact on others.
- The motivators that keep them engaged and the stressors that might cause frustration at work.
- How to use the knowledge of the four basic DiSC styles to build and strengthen relationships, prepare for conversations, and manage complex situations.
- To reflect and identify actions to flex and adjust their style for more effective dynamics with coworkers.
- How to integrate key aspects of the DiSC model and the different styles to enhance communication and collaborative practices at your workplace.
