Growing Emerging & New Leaders
Equip your emerging and new leaders with the foundational leadership tools
and skills to increase their confidence and accelerate the transition from leading self to leading others.
Target Audience
Emerging leaders who may have had some supervisory or project leadership experience and are expected to be promoted within the next 6 months and those newly promoted in their management roles.
Stepping into a leadership role requires more than individual expertise – it demands a unique set of skills to focus strategically and achieve results through others. By providing emerging and new leaders with foundational skills, this program equips less experienced leaders with a deeper appreciation of navigating transitions, perspectives on how to prioritize new responsibilities and a practical toolkit for the key leadership skills of communication, delegation and managing performance.
This program is designed to help participants: increase the confidence to lead, manage time to avoid frustration and potential burnout, increase empathy for themselves and their teams through the transition, develop others through delegation and increase productivity with powerful performance feedback and recognition.
We all learn differently. At the core, Boreala Management’s design is inclusive and considers a whole host of participant needs and preferences to ensure a psychologically safe and optimal learning environment. We incorporate activities for experiential learning, inquiry exercises for reflection, guidelines for conceptualization, and simple tools (handouts) for applying the content in the workplace.
