HR FORUM | Connecting Professionals in Indigenous Focused Workplaces

At Boreala Management, we partner with organizations deeply rooted in their communities to create stronger organizations by building capacity, enhancing collaboration, and maximizing their potential for sustainable, positive impact. 

As part of this commitment, we created the HR Forum: Connecting Professionals in Indigenous Focused Workplaces. This initiative is designed to empower and support HR professionals through ongoing events, both in-person and virtual, throughout the year. Our goal is to foster a strong network of professionals dedicated to strengthening Indigenous-focused workplaces.

For over a decade, Boreala Management has been building relationships with indigenous communities and the entities that serve them from coast to coast and far into the north.

Our projects take us to remote locations, working closely with our clients in community, learning and gaining an understanding of the challenges and realities.  We understand that no two communities are the same, but are able to leverage our experiences to serve our clients with methodology that is adapted and suited to the unique issues faced.

Our approach is always pragmatic and practical.  We listen, we learn and co-develop solutions with our clients that will make an impact and be sustainable. We understand the importance of consulting and aligning stakeholders, both inside and outside of the organization to gather input, and our approach is designed with respect for all level of stakeholder and employee.

We endeavour to remove unnecessary complexity to provide actionable, ready to implement solutions that will help the organization move ahead.

Our methodology is designed to be culturally sensitive, and our consultants are all experienced in working in the indigenous context.  Our style is approachable, open and collaborative.

We are 100% committed and invested to the success of our clients, and consider it a privilege to develop the kinds of relationships we have .  More often than not, the projects that we support involve working with our clients not only in their places of work, but also their communities. We understand the impact that the successful implementation of improvement projects can have, and the value of capacity building to create the next generation of leaders.
